Customers praised the lightweight fabric and storage capacity, saying they are "so light" and hold essentials well for long runs. However, sizing runs small with many needing to size up. The inner short's tight leg band causes chafing for some. While the outer layer is described as beautiful, fit inconsistencies remain a concern.

Favorite shorts but SIZE UP!!!!
DISCLAIMER: you need to size up in these! I originally got a small and they were definitely too tight around the waistband. got a medium next and they fit like a dream.
i am so picky with shorts, but i absolutely love these shorts and they’re my favorite i’ve ever had. the perfect amount of coverage for an airy-er short, i love the liner, length, rise, and find the contour and construction of the waistband to be really flattering and secure!
i need to run with my phone and keys and these hold them great. i also appreciate that the almond pair (more of a white color than I had anticipated) still uses black at the top of the waistband - i don’t worry about them getting as dingy and it’s a cool contrast.

good, needs some changes
Lots to love but needs a few things fixed - belt is pretty dang tight, had to go up a size. Also, the “flocked” band on the end of the shorts has a seam on the inner thigh and is too tight and somewhat irritable to the skin resulting in annoying chafing - would absolutely be fixed by a silicone band like older flipbelt shorts had!
I did immediately notice some pilling on the inner thighs on the over-short showing up which hopefully doesnt progress agressively? Given the lightweight fabric im not surprised but i do like the fabric feel so i’m torn on whether this is a problem.

Disappointed! They run much smaller than expected and are extremely tight. I ordered my usual size, but they feel very restrictive and uncomfortable. I would recommend sizing up.

I really wanted to love these shorts, but the sizing is a bit off. I’m 5’3” and 126 lbs and the XL was a tad tight in the waist, but the under shirts kept riding up. I’m usually a perfect medium. The concept was great, but they need to work on the sizing! I already wore them, or I’d send them back!

Great concept and exactly what I was looking for, BUT the inner short has a tight bonded leg opening that does not work for me. Tried both M and L and wasn’t much difference. For reference, I’m 5’5 and about 135-140#. Waist 29 and hip 38.

Beautiful design. Base might need refining.
Fabric feels great. The outer layer is super thin and beautiful. However, the base layer just doesnt work for me. It extends awkwardly long and the length difference for me wasn't as pictured. I ended up returning them.
I'd love to see Ouray in a similar pattern.
