Your shipment confirmation email from FlipBelt includes your tracking number (via USPS or UPS, depending on the shipping method).

  • Check the email titled “Your FlipBelt Order Has Shipped” for the tracking link or number.
  • Click the tracking link directly in the email, or paste the number into the carrier’s website (usps.com or ups.com).

How do I return or exchange FlipBelt Gear?

Go to our returns portal here: Returns & Exchanges

Enter your order number and email—we'll review and, if approved, send you a prepaid return shipping label and instructions.

I want to exchange for a different size, but it's sold out—what are my options?

This happens sometimes—our FlipBelt designs are always evolving with improved versions, new features, and fresh colors, which means we occasionally discontinue older styles or specific sizes/colors to make room for the latest.

In cases like this, we can offer an exchange for a different color or similar style (if available), or process a full refund back to your original payment method.

If you have questions about upcoming releases, just email us at contact@flipbelt.com—we're happy to help figure out the best option for you!

I received my order, but something is wrong — what do I do?

Oh no! We're sorry about that—let's fix it right away.

Just email us at contact@flipbelt.com with your order number and details about what's wrong (e.g., faulty item, missing piece, wrong size, or incorrect product). We'll get it resolved as quickly as possible so you can get the right gear and get moving again.

We work hard to maintain high quality standards in our materials and construction, with checks throughout production and fulfillment. But sometimes human errors slip through—with our team, manufacturing partners, or shipping. We take full responsibility and apologize if your order isn't perfect. We'll make it right and get you sorted fast!

What's the fastest way to process an exchange?

The quickest way to secure the new item you want (especially if stock is low) is to return your current item and place a new order for the replacement once the return is processed.

Start your return here: Returns & Exchanges

How long does it take to process a return?

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not.

If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Refunds may take 3–7 business days to appear on your account.

Brand Info

Where are you guys located?

FlipBelt started in Boulder, Colorado, and we're now headquartered and warehousing in Broomfield, Colorado—right in the heart of the Rockies.

What does "Find Your Stride "mean to us?

"Find Your Stride" is our motto. It means creating gear that stays secure and out of the way, no matter your pace or activity.

Whether you're running fast, going slow, walking, or training, our products are designed to move with you without bouncing, shifting, or needing constant adjustment. The focus stays on your stride, not your gear.

Product Avalibility

The (insert FlipBelt gear here) I really want is sold out in my size, is it ever coming back?

Our products are always evolving—we’re constantly improving designs, materials, and features, which means we sometimes discontinue older versions, specific sizes, or colors to make room for the next generation of gear.

Some popular styles and core colors do come back or stay in stock longer, but many are limited-run or seasonal. If your exact size/color is sold out, it may not be restocked in that exact form.

The best move is to email us at contact@flipbelt.com with what you’re looking for. We can let you know if/when it might return, suggest a similar current option, or help with alternatives.

When is new stuff coming out?

We're always working on improvements and new designs for our belts, apparel, and accessories.

We typically roll out major updates and new collections twice a year (Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter), released in smaller drops throughout the season. In between, we introduce new colors, updated versions of core items, fresh apparel pieces, and occasional limited accessories.

Sign up for our email newsletter to get the first heads-up on new releases and restocks.

Do you plan to make (insert dream product here) anytime soon?

We’re always brainstorming, testing, and working on new ideas to make FlipBelt gear even better for runners and active folks. While we don’t share exact upcoming product timelines (to keep some surprises!), we’re constantly evolving our line—improving existing belts, adding new apparel pieces, refining fits, and exploring fresh accessories.

If there’s a specific product, feature, color, size, or style you’re dreaming of (or think would be awesome), we genuinely want to hear it. Your feedback helps shape what comes next.

Product Fit & Sizing

How do I know my size — size charts please?

We’ve got a detailed Size & Fit Guide to help you pick the right size for your FlipBelt gear (belts and apparel). Since our products are built for movement, we recommend checking the specific measurements and fit notes for each category.

You can find the full, up-to-date size charts here:
FlipBelt Size & Fit Guide

I’ve bought some FlipBelt apparel in the past and some recently and the fit is different even though the size is the same — what’s up with this?

The honest answer: we’re always working to get the fit right.

We want every piece—whether it’s a belt, shorts, top, or layer—to feel secure, comfortable, and reliable during movement. That means we’re constantly iterating: tweaking patterns, testing new fabrics, adjusting seams, trims, and construction details based on real runner feedback and how the gear actually performs out there.

Because of that ongoing evolution, even when the size label stays the same, the fit can feel slightly different from one season (or batch) to the next. Changing one element—like stretch, weight of material, or cut—can shift how the piece sits or moves.

We know how important consistent sizing is for performance gear, and we’re actively focused on tightening up those discrepancies as much as we can. It’s not perfect yet, and we don’t pretend it is, but we’re committed to making each version better than the last.

Your feedback is a huge part of that process—every note about what worked, what didn’t, or how a specific piece fit helps us refine things. Thanks for being part of getting it right.

Do the FlipBelt Running Belts ride up?

For the vast majority of runners, FlipBelt stays locked in place—no bounce, no ride-up, no mid-run tugging. The tubular, even design distributes weight evenly, and the wider, grippy fabric creates a balanced, stable hold that moves with your body instead of sliding against it.

That said, a small percentage of body types can experience some upward movement, often due to factors like narrower waists relative to hips, very lean builds, or wearing the belt higher on the torso.

Quick fixes that help most people in those cases:

  • Position it lower, around the widest part of your hips (not up on the waist).
  • Snug it just right—secure enough to stay put, but not so tight it restricts breathing.
  • Load evenly (phone centered, weight balanced front to back).

If ride-up still happens for your build, check out our bottom apparel: all of our running shorts and crops have some variation of the FlipBelt storage built right in. It gives you the same secure, bounce-free pocket system without needing a separate belt.

Product Care

How do I best take care of my FlipBelt gear?

We design FlipBelt gear—belts, apparel, and accessories—to handle frequent use with minimal fuss.

General care instructions (for most items):

  • Machine wash cold with like colors and mild detergent.
  • Line dry / hang dry (this is the best method—our fabrics dry quickly, it saves energy, and it helps the gear last longer by avoiding heat damage).
  • Do not use bleach or fabric softeners.
  • Avoid high-heat drying or ironing.

Hang drying is strongly recommended for preserving stretch, shape, and performance over time.

For the exact instructions on any specific item, check the product page on our site (each has its own care section). If the label is missing, that’s the place to look.

Wear it hard, wash it less —your gear will thank you.

Is there a warranty on FlipBelt products?

Yes, FlipBelt products come with a one (1) year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase.

We will repair or replace any item that has a manufacturing defect under normal use. This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, improper care, or normal wear and tear.

For full details, check our Product Warranty page

Compatibility

Will my phone fit?

Yes! We design the pockets in all our FlipBelt running belts and apparel to comfortably hold large modern smartphones.

Our stretchy, expandable pockets are optimized for today's bigger phones, including models like the iPhone 17 Pro Max and Galaxy S25 Ultra (and most current flagships in between).

Note on cases: Bulky or rubberized cases (like OtterBox or heavy-duty protectors) can make it a bit harder to slide the phone in and out. Slimmer cases—or going caseless—usually fit the smoothest and go in easily.

If you're wondering about a specific phone + case combo, feel free to email contact@flipbelt.com with the details and we'll confirm fit for you!

Is carrying small items secure?

Yes—when worn and used correctly, FlipBelt gear keeps small items secure and bounce-free during runs, workouts, or daily movement.

For tiny or loose items like keys, coins, cards, chapstick, gels, or cash:

  • We recommend placing them in a FlipBelt wallet or small coin purse first. This prevents shifting, sliding, or accidental loss during high-impact activities.
  • In the Classic FlipBelt (non-zipper styles), you can rotate the belt so the openings face inward against your body for better lockdown.
  • The Zipper FlipBelt has a dedicated zippered pocket built in for extra security on smaller valuables.

Our apparel takes it further:

  • Many running shorts, crops, and bottoms include small zippered pockets specifically designed for valuables like keys, cards, or cash—secure, quick-access, and no separate belt needed.
  • Some pieces also feature a hook/loop (or key clip) that's fully compatible with the FlipBelt wallet for even more organized storage.

Pro tip: Always do a quick test run/walk with your loaded gear before heading out. Get familiar with how items sit, where pockets are, and how everything feels in motion. A little shake-test goes a long way to building confidence.

Will my passport fit in a FlipBelt?

Just as the FlipBelt is designed to stretch and fit large cellphones, your passport won’t have any trouble fitting either! The fact that the FlipBelt can easily fit a passport, your money, your cellphone, keys and more, make it a slim, elegant and stylish alternative to traditional money belts.

We recommend the FlipBelt Zipper, which is slightly wider for an easier fit and has a zipper-close pocket for extra security.

Does a water bottle fit in a FlipBelt?

Yes! We make custom-designed water bottles specifically shaped to fit perfectly and securely in any FlipBelt pocket.

Our bottles are contoured to hug your body comfortably—no awkward bulging, no shifting or bouncing during runs, hikes, or workouts. They slide right in, stay put, and feel like a natural part of your setup.

Available in two sizes:

  • 11 oz – Great for longer outings or when you want a bit more hydration
  • 6 oz – Compact and lightweight, ideal for shorter runs or minimal carry
