Customers praised this lightweight, water-resistant softshell jacket for running and outdoor activities. Popular features include thumb holes, watch windows on both sleeves, multiple pockets, and vibrant colors. Many noted "warm and windproof" performance. However, several shoppers found sizing runs small/short, particularly in sleeves and torso, with some calling it "too expensive."

All the bells and whistles...great fit, a hood and watch window with plenty of pockets
Great running jacket! I used it this morning on this sub 20 degree, windy day. This kept me as warm as my heavier fleece lined jacked without any bulk. I was concerned about the hood flopping around, as there are no instructions I saw to tuck it away when not needed, and i didn't even notice it was there. Love the material, very light, not at all bulky but warm and windproof (haven't tested the water proofing yet). I especially love the watch window. I've used one with gloves and a half zip, but even better to have it with the jacket as it doesn't matter which gloves or half zip I run with. I look forward to taking it traveling as it can double as a running jacket and a raincoat to cut down on packing. I purchased Electric Yellow which serves my purpose of visibility as I run on the roads. I purchased my usual medium size and it fits perfectly. Slender cut but not at all tight or snug...plenty of room to layer.

Looks and feels high end
This is a very cool jacket. It's nice and lightweight for running errands or exercising - doesn't get too hot, but keeps the wind off you and good to have if it rains or is slightly chilly. I love the look of it with the off-white plus teal combo and the grid texture. The zipper pockets are very convenient to hold things securely during movement. The overall fit and shape is flattering and sizing is right, though they are on the slimmer side - not a super baggy jacket.

Beautiful jacket that is so soft, water resistant and breathable
I am madly in love with this jacket. The color! So vibrant and perfect. The contrasting zipper and stitching is the perfect shade of light teal.I’m really impressed at the water resistance of the is jacket. It’s become my favorite light weight hiking jacket. It’s breathable, but stretchy, nice fitting hood, and soft on the inside.

great jacket
This jacket is made of quality material and right weight for fall or spring weather. It runs true to size and it is comfortable. Fits nicely and was just enough to keep warm on a chilly morning. The water resistance is also super handy. The pockets are very convenient and useful. I love the color as well. overall, Exactly what I was looking for something light weight but still able to provide some warmth, durable fabric, very stylish and good value ..

FlipBelt Women's Durango Softshell Jacket
This FlipBelt Women's Durango Softshell Jacket is so cute! I got the electric teal and I love it! I decided on a size small and it fits me really well. For reference, I'm 5'9, I weigh 110 lbs, and I wear a size 34 C up top. It's form-fitting and it's not too tight. I have long arms and the sleeves come all the way down to my wrist. It's comfortable and it's lightweight. It's a good jacket for cooler summer nights and fall. It also has some cool features like a watch window in the sleeve so I can peek through and see my smartwatch. It has plenty of pockets for my keys, phone, and other small items. It's also wind and water-resistant.

Great fit that is light weight and keeps you warm
I really like this lightweight jacket that keeps you warm and protects you from the wind and rain. It has an attractive fit, and I like the detailed features, including an opening to look at your watch and various areas for adjusting the tightness and fit. Zippers glide smoothly with no issues. It comes in various appealing colors. This is perfect for traveling since it doesn’t take up much room in your luggage, is lightweight but will also keep you warm. It is very comparable to the higher end brands. Therefore, the price fits the value you get.

New favorite jacket
I’ve had this jacket for 2 months and it is constantly the one I grab to wear in the morning when it’s a little chilly. It’s great for casual wear or for running. The colors are vibrant, and it feels great on. The little details for running like the wrist flap for easy access to your watch or fitness trainer, and the thumb holes are high quality.I can be in between sizes and I sized up like I do in most coats and it fits great.Love this jacket!

fit is off
There is something off about the fit. The large fits properly but the arms are a bit snug and the jacket is just a little too boxy and short. I'm also just not a fan of the material and it doesn't feel very luxe. I like a lot of flipbelt products but this is a miss for me.

runs a bit small/short, but very nice!
This jacket is super high quality, like Lululemon level. I love the thumbholes, all the pockets, and the shorter, boxy fit! I have short arms and this was surprisingly perfect for me, even in the larger of the two sizes I fluctuate between, so I'd say it runs small. I'm normally a 6-8 and petite sizes generally work best for me - the Medium in this jacket fits well, so I hope that helps. The soft white color with the teal is so pretty! It's definitely lightweight, and I think it's breezy enough that even with the little bit of protection, you wouldn't feel hot if wearing it for a workout or run. I will be wearing it over the FlipBelt weighted/water vest.

A little small, but I don't mind!
I have absolutely adored this jacket! Since I got this it has become my go-to jacket, especially since it is summer still. It is breathable and comfortable if you are moving around and need some insulation, but also can keep you warm if needed. I love the thumb loops and the ability to look at my watch through the jacket!I love the waffle look, it makes it look high end. The quality of the material is super nice, athletic feeling on the outside and just ever so slightly cozy on the inside. The colors are vibrant and fun.I normally wear a small but I got a medium and it fits a little small. Keep that in mind when you are ordering a size.

Very nice jacket!
Excited to use this for my fall runs! . The material feels like it will breathe well and won't cause issues on a longer run. I would say you are paying for the brand so value wise keep that in mind. I like that you can get to your watch without moving the whole sleeve up and that you can cinch down the hood. Overall I'd suggest sizing up if you want a less fitted feel or order true to your size if you want a tighter fit. I wear a med/lg and I got a medium and it fits perfectly but I won't be wearing any thick layers under the jacket so it will work great. My photos make it look less teal than the listing photos, but in person it's much more teal than blue. Very bright! Should be good for visibility.

Amazing, and thoughtful construction that's water resistant, warm and light.
The FlipBelt Women's Durango Softshell Jacket in Electric Teal, is made of a polyester and spandex blend of fabric. The outer layer feels more like a windbreaker with stretch that's water resistant, and the inner layer has a grid texture that is soft to the touch and has a fleece-like feel. I'm 5ft tall, 120 lbs, normally a US 4-6, Small, and I got my normal size Small which fits just right. I appreciate the thought that went completely into this jacket as part of the hood is 3 panels to hold it's shape and the back portion has two panes that easily forms to the shape of my head. In addition there's a strip of fabric on the inside to help reinforce it all along with the toggles and piping around the hood helps for a tight fit on windy days to keep the cold out. It has stretch all around, soft feel pockets and the only thing is the piping around my hips are a bit tight, but still have a little bit of stretch in general. In addition the sleeves have panels of fabric for airflow as well as thumbholes to help keep my hands warm. Overall, this is probably one of the nicest outdoor/sports jackets I've ever owned and I look forward to making use of it on warmer fall days as well as cooler spring days to come.

Totally Rad! 🧡
Ok!!! It’s pricey but I love it! It’s quite unique. The fabric is soft and stretchy. It’s similar to neoprene but yet it’s not. I am 5’4” tall and 140 pounds and I got a medium. It’s a snug fit but I think it’s supposed to be because it’s stretchy. The sleeves have a thumb hole to keep the sleeves where they belong. Also. Something I found to be really cool and unique… each sleeve has a smart watch flap! Overall the waffle patterned fabric and all the cool features make this jacket worth every penny. I don’t mind paying more if I’m getting a high quality product, which this is. Also! One more thing… the color!! Wow. So bright and so vibrant. I’m gonna love this!

Excellent for performance minded users willing to spend!
This jacket has become my go-to for crisp mornings, trail runs, and everyday errands. It’s breathable, lightweight, super flexible and functional exactly what I need when I want reliable coverage without feeling bulky. Even though it runs trim, the adjustable hem and stretch fabric let me customize the fit just right. Personally though, for me the price feels quite high for a softshell jacket in this category but If you prioritize high-end weather resistance, mobility, and thoughtful design and aren’t put off by the cost—it's worth the investment.Although this became my favorite to wear the price is a little high for me

Great for fall hikes and winter runs!
This is going to be a great hiking or trail running jacket in cooler months!! I LOVE the watch hole in the sleeve -there’s one on both sides. The color is exactly as pictured. The material doesn’t feel crinkly or noisy in the slightest, but does have some water repellency. It’s a light jacket, but very breathable and warming while active.I took this jacket camping this weekend. It was perfect around 50-60 when just sitting around… for reference.I’m usually between a small and a medium, and the medium fits well. I maybe could have done a large if I wanted more room for layers, but I’m really happy with the size for my needs!

great for ultra running
I've been a long-time user of FlipBelt activewear, especially their running waist bags and shorts. This softshell jacket gives me another great option. Jackets are often mandatory gear in ultra running races, and I plan to carry this one with me in my next trail running race. I tried it on and the size S fits me perfectly. I love everything about it - the size, the style, and the color. The pocket design and cuff design really highlight the product's features. The entire jacket is very lightweight, making it ideal for running. It's also rainproof and windproof, which makes it a great choice for trail running.

Overall very nice jacket but overpriced for what it is as well.
Item: FlipBelt Women's Durango Softshell JacketI do like the jacket a lot. Great color, interesting texture fabric in what I would call a medium weight. Quality stitching and binding. Always love thumbholes especially on jackets. And I love the watch openings on both arms. If you have thumbholes, you should always have the fly for watches in my opinion. Otherwise, it's a mission to take a peek at it. It's pretty water resistant/proof and all in all a very decent, good-looking piece of outerwear.But...Very expensive. The interesting fabric doesn't feel very luxury like to me. It's a bit stiff. The cuff/thumbhole just seems a little clumsy. It's not tailored nicely, It's stitched nicely but it isn't a very appealing design and it is a bit short. If I stretch my arms out straight, I'm putting some pretty good pull on the material between my thumbs and shoulders. My biggest issue is with the price though.I felt like the size is ok. I'm one of those people though that if I wear a small shirt, I'll get a medium jacket unless it's a big sloppy one. Outerwear is often worn over layers and when they show it as a fitted looking style, in my opinion, always go up a size unless you are looking for a snug fit.

Too narrow around the bottom hem
The jacket looks very nice, and it's quite warm while also being lightweight--the inside has small squares of fleeced material that add a lot of warmth but almost zero bulk. Great level of insulation for running in cold weather. There are thumb holes in the sleeves as well as watch holes, and they're large and easy to use. However, I ordered my usual size large, and it fits perfectly in every way except around the hips/bottom hem. It will not close or zip up when it's pulled all the way down--I have to pull it up so it sits on top of my hips. The hem is adjustable, so if I wanted it to fit that way I could cinch it to do so, but it's irrelevant because I have no other option due to it being too narrow at the bottom. And that's the only place--it otherwise fits beautifully or even with room to spare.

Nice Jacket
This durango soft shell FlipBelt jacket is nice and fits well, I did order up a size so I have plenty of room to wear something thicker underneath. The jacket has some great features like the watch ready design which is perfect for me as I am always trying to get to my watch. The thumb holes are nice and the side pockets are deep. I like that the jacket is lightweight and still water and wind resistant. What I am not of fan of is the waffle like material of the jacket, but that is a minor thing and it wont stop me from wearing the jacket. Overall, this is a nice soft shell jacket that has some great features and is wind/water resistant. Something to consider, think about sizing up for comfort and the jacket is a bit expensive, but it does have some great features that some other jackets do not have.

Way too expensive for what you get
This is way too overpriced for what you get. I mean, the jacket feels like it’s sturdily made and well stitched but the fabric is just a little too stiff, too sheer, and too coarse for it to pass as truly lux in line with the price point. The colors are nice, and there’s some stretch and the inside is softer than the exterior but it does mean that it doesn’t block wind or water well, but it doesn’t breathe enough to be a really light jacket. I thought it was clever to have watch access slots, but since the fabric kinda does it’s own thing, they look bulky and clumsy.I wanted to love it, but as is, it’s not worth $100+ in this economy. I didn’t plan to have to coordinate the shirt I wear under my jacket to have to ensure the overall look worked because of how much ghosts through the off white fabric.

Great comfortable jacket
Comfortable jacket, runs true to normal sizes. I love the extra pockets and the sleeve holes to keep your thumbs in or the opening to check your watch is rather clever as well.5'2" 110lbs Average build, it's a snug fit but comfortable. Ordered a Small.

Perfect Lightweight Layer
Ordered in Obsidian Plum, size M—this softshell jacket is the perfect lightweight layer that works well for cool morning walks or transitional weather. It’s surprisingly soft with just enough stretch, and the fit is flattering without being tight. The color is rich and versatile—more elevated than basic black but still neutral enough to mix easily. Zippered pockets are a plus, and the minimalist style makes it easy to wear from workout to errands. For reference, I’m 5'6", 36B, 27-inch waist, very curvy size S/M – 8; size 9/10 shoe. Ordered in Medium—fit is perfect with room for a thin layer underneath. My Star Scale:5 Stars: Must-have—add to cart immediately!4 Stars: Get it—without regret!3 Stars: Add to list—think it over.2 Stars: Has potential—comes with issues.1 Star: Nope—hard pass!

Lost In The Cut And The Glitz Of The Ad
I’m a bit disappointed in this garment. The cut is excellent and the pattern is great, but the fabric quality leaves much to be desired—especially at this price point. It doesn’t meet the standard I’d expect. Not sure if TACO tariffs are a factor here, but the cost simply doesn’t match the garment. The fit is also off by about two sizes; I ordered an XL, but it fits more like a medium. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to recommend this item.-MKFor clarity, the latest AI technology available on the market was used to proofread and spellcheck this review.
