Customers praised these compression shorts for exceptional storage, comfort, and staying in place during runs. "These are my favorite shorts by far," many noted. The leg grippers prevent ride-up effectively. However, sizing runs small—customers recommend sizing up. Some concerns about durability, with reflective panels and drawstring areas showing wear after limited use.
I am 5'5" tall and weigh 110.
These 5 -inch shorts are great and fit well. I am going to wear these to next marathon.
Hi Jenny, we're so glad to hear the shorts fit well and you're excited to wear them for your marathon! You'll look great! Best of luck in the race :)

Love them - particularly in longer lengths!
I love the shorts, don’t love the 3”. I run in the Florida heat & on the Colorado trails so I specifically ordered the 3 inch shorties for the heat. The shorts have rolled on me every run. It doesn’t bother me enough to not wear them. I’m 5’3” 118lbs. Athletic running build. The small fit me great. The compression feels tight at first but I got used to it right away and definitely wouldn’t want to size up as they seem to give a little bit the more you wear them and when you are pulling and tucking things in and out of the pockets you obviously want them staying put.
My iPhone 16 did not completely fit in the side pocket but when I took the case off, it fit fine and just poked out the top a little. Stayed put during my run.
I did try to run with an 8 and 16oz Salomon and Nathan soft water flask in the side pockets and that was a big nooo. The water bottles just kept wiggling out and getting water everywhere! I finally ordered flip belts water bottles and they worked much better!
The shorts are super breathable! Stretchy and very comfortable. No chafing or any weird rubbing. The lighter colors do seem to show sweat very easily but that doesn’t bother me. I have the color glacier blue.
I ordered 2 more shorts in longer lengths so excited to try those out! I love love love all the pockets for my snackies, gels, AirPods, credit card and whatever else. I did order shorts with pockets in the front (women’s Ouray compression shorts) because I found myself wanting to grab there for quick access and these compression shorts only have pockets on the sides and back.

Love these!
These shorts are really great for running! They surprisingly stay in place and dont ride up my legs while moving and were comfortable for a longer run. They have so many pockets, which is crazy helpful for long runs. My big phone and case fit in the back pocket, ear buds fit in the side, keys in the zip pocket and still room for gels or candies! As far as fit goes, i ordered my usual size small, and they fit me perfectly. For reference, im 5'3" 129lbs. Theres a drawstring in the waist if needed, but I didnt need to use it and they stayed up just fine. They are definitely a compression style short, so if youre sensitive to tight clothes, these may not be your favorite fit. They are tight on my legs, but i have bigger legs. I also think theyre tight so they actually stay in place. I wouldn't say its the cutest look, squeezing my quads, but theyre functional and comfortable for long runs, so im not complaining! My only potential critique is they do have a raw hem looking edge on the legs, so im curious to see how theyll hold up after a lot of uses and washes, but so far I dont have any complaints. Im also curious to see the longevity of the rubber grips on the legs and if they will still stay in place so well if those start to wear. All in all though, great shorts for runners! Theyre so convenient!!

Comfortable and functional, but durability is a question
These are great running shorts. They fit well and offer some compression. There are enough pockets to bring anything you might need along on your run. I like that I can leave my running belt at home since these shorts have space for my phone and earbuds case. The grip on the inside of the leg actually helps keep them in place. My one reservation is durability. I've worn these on three runs and already the little strip where the drawstring is has separated from the material. If that's all that happens, fine. But time will tell whether these functional shorts actually hold up.

These shorts are incredibly well designed

From the moment I put them on, you can tell there was real thought put into every detail. The fit is supportive without feeling restrictive, and everything stays in place whether you’re moving, stretching, or going about a busy day. What really stood out to me was the attention to detail, even the grips on the thighs. They actually work and keep the shorts from riding up, which makes such a difference in comfort and confidence. They feel high quality, hold their shape, and are clearly made for real movement, not just looks.

Sturdy compression, lots of pockets, and great length options!
These are great shorts! I love the pockets and the length (I ordered 7")! You can carry quite a bit of stuff in the pockets and then you don't have to worry about holding anything in your hands or bringing a bag, which is a huge plus for me! They provide firm compression to hold everything in while still being comfortable. The material is durable and strong. I was worried the XS was going to be too small for me, but they actually fit great! I typically wear a size 2 in fitted jeans. I am 5'4", 130 lbs.

Read sizing info closely! Too small for me unfortunately.
I wanted to love these and maybe if I had sized up I would have. Unfortunately they cut into my skin too much to make sense for running or lifting in them. Gonna pass them down to my daughter who is smaller than me. I normally wear a medium in workout pants but I definitley should have gotten a large. The quality is great though! Breathable fabric. There are grips down on the legs to keep them from rolling up. The pouches are great and fit my samsung galaxy just fine. Overall great pair of shorts, I just can't wear them. Taking one star off because they are a bit see-through for me when I looked close in the mirror.

Perfect shorts for training and races with great pockets
I love these shorts. I roller ski in the summer and having secure pockets is really important for carrying essentials while training. These shorts have excellent pocket placement that keeps things secure without bouncing around. The fabric is comfortable, breathable, and supportive without feeling restrictive. They stay in place well during movement, which is great for activities like running, roller skiing, or other workouts.Overall, these are very functional training shorts with thoughtful pocket design. If you like having places to carry small items while staying comfortable and mobile, these are a great option.

professional running pants
As a runner, I recently got these running pants, and wow, what a pleasant surprise! First off, the compression is really on point. Wearing them, my legs feel securely hugged and stable while running, without any wobble. The most crucial part is that they're not stuffy at all; the breathability is amazing! Even when running in the hot summer, my legs don't feel sticky. Plus, the pocket design really understands runners like us! I can easily stash my phone, keys, and even a small energy gel pack without worrying about them falling out. After the run, the pants don't feel loose either; the rebound effect is excellent. I sincerely recommend these to all running enthusiasts!

Nice shorts. Style just not for me
These are a nice pair of compression shorts, just not for me. The fit is ok. I usually wear a small or medium but always size up to the medium for leggings or bike shorts. So I went with the medium. They are a tad snug in my opinion but I think that’s by design. They have a high rise and the compression at the waist is great for tummy control. Unfortunately for me, I just don’t like things tight around my waist. That being said, the shorts are well made and should last a while. And Flipbelt is a reputable brand. The accessory pockets around the waist are great for storing everything from gels to keys to phones without having to wear a fanny pack. I went with the 7 inch inseam as I sometimes like to have longer shorts. It’s nice that they offer different inseams, especially the longer ones that are often hard to find in women’s shorts. Overall these are a nice pair of shorts. If you like things tighter, then these might be for you. But if you’re not a fan of tight garments around your waist, or high rise styles, then these would be a no go. At $65, they are a bit pricey. You’re basically paying for the convenience of having 2 products in one. In comparison, the Flipbelt waist pack is $46.

Quality material, 4 pockets
They have great coverage and nice thick material. I don’t love the burgundy/yellow color combination but it’s absolutely worth it for the good fit and 3 discrete, convenient pockets. Fits my iPhone

FlipBelt Women's Comp Shorts Elite
FlipBelt Women's Comp Shorts EliteFrom the first time I wore them, I was impressed by how comfortable and supportive they feel the fabric is smooth and stretchy without being too tight, and they stay in place during everything from a long run to a strength workout. What really stands out is how confident these shorts make you feel. They’re flattering without squeezing uncomfortably, and the length hits at just the right spot so you can move freely without worrying about riding up.What I appreciate most is the thoughtful design details. The hidden storage pockets are a game-changer for errands, gym sessions, or outdoor runs. I can slip my phone, keys, or card inside without anything bouncing around. They wash beautifully too. The color and shape stay true even after multiple cycles. Whether I’m hitting the trails, going to yoga, or just running around town, these shorts have become my go-to. They strike a perfect balance of performance, comfort, and style.

Not for the softbodied
These are good shorts if you're pretty fit. I'm a size 14 and the XL fits well, but the waist is pretty high and after a while you feel it pressing on your organs. All the pockets are really nice although your phone will only fit in the back one, not the sides. The grip on the leg holes is really nice, it didn't budge at all.The price though...these might be worth it at half price. The fabric has good stability but dust or dry skin will stick to it and not brush off.

Comfortable but not for big quads
I wear mostly shorts for running and working out. I purchased these shorts since they seem to meet my requirements in sizing, length and has pockets. The material is thin and cooling, which I enjoy. I opted for the 5 inch shorts instead of 3 since I want to be able to wear them comfortably. But due to my quads being a little bit bigger, the leg holes were a little tight. Everything else fits, but the legs part was too snug for me. I think the 3 inch shorts would have worked out better since it doesn't squeeze into my quads.

I like a lot of the features, but it’s just not flattering
Hm, I really wanted to like these shorts, but they aren’t flattering on me. I’ve enjoyed other flipbelt products, but I’ve usually found they run small, so I sized up to a large, and the medium might have been better… so don’t size up. The size chart seems correct.Again, it may just be too big a size, but the belt sits very high and is pretty thin and with a drawstring inside. The thin and high band means it doesn’t hold in my lady pooch, but does cinch right above it (further accenting it). The material is also very smooth, so my top was riding up while running as it slid up to the top of the belt line - in a 5 mile run, I had to get used to it rather than pulling it down over and over.I do like all the pockets!! Also, the 7” length is great, and the lining to keep the legs from rolling at the hem works well. The color is also gorgeous!! I just wish the waist belt was a more flattering look for me 😕.
